One of the reasons I started Fly By Night Wedding is because I believe *everyone* who gets married deserves the beautiful, meaningful wedding day they dream of–including people who are on a tight budget.

Let me say it loud and clear: no one should have to go into debt to buy an engagement ring! Finding your wedding dress can and should be one of the most fun parts of planning your wedding! More and more brides are ditching traditional wedding dress styles in favor of free-spirited, nontraditional boho wedding dresses. The shift away from stuffy, uncomfortable styles from big bridal chains toward designers and labels with unique aesthetic vision and greater focus on the bride’s comfort is an overdue one I’m happy is here!
But many of these labels still design like brides above a street size 12 don’t exist (some of them barely even do that) and carry only hefty price points. For a curvy bride on a budget–aka, *many* brides–finding beautiful plus size boho wedding dresses can be a needle in haystack type of situation.

My jaw *dropped* when I first came across Saldana Vintage. They create breathtakingly beautiful boho wedding dresses from vintage and contemporary laces, with the vast majority of price points falling between $500 to just under $1000. (And a few dresses even cheaper than that!) Saldana has a small plus size section, and the option for many of their dresses not included in the plus section to be made plus size for an upcharge.
